Typically, a client calls a service provider wanting an estimate for the project that they are seeking to have done. We gladly participate in this process, however estimates are created from a defined written scope of work that is initially created from a consultation by our staff or another source. Many times like in new construction, the site has yet to be developed or built. An architect or designer compiles and tabulates pertinent information such as, the client's objectives, all measurements, plant choices, site needs or challenges, code requirements, HOA restrictions, etc. With this information gathered during the consultation, an estimate can be provided. This may provide a written action plan with all information presented, the client can have as many estimates as needed. Only when all estimates come from the exact scope of work can a client get an equitable bid process. This compares apples to apples. We can provide the consultation necessary for this equitable process.
